Thomas “Tom” “Tommy” Moore age 89, of Paso Robles Ca, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026 with his daughter by his side.
Born on May 27, 1936, in Sayre, Oklahoma, Tommy lived a long and meaningful life devoted to family, integrity, and kindness. He was the beloved son of Alva and Calvin Moore and the loving husband of Roselyn Waer Moore, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage until her passing in 2016.
Tommy worked 40 years of his life as a glazier, where he was admired for his work ethic and integrity. Beyond his professional life, he loved RVing with friends and family, playing golf, cards and poker, coaching baseball and his daughters softball teams, gardening, horseback riding, BBQing, and especially cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. He served his community with his involvement as a lifelong member and past president in the following clubs; the Paso Robles Jaycees, Paso Robles Lions Club, Paso Robles Pioneer Day Committee, Paso Robles Trail Riders and Camp Fire Girls.
He was named Roblan of The Month in Paso Robles, he was Pioneer Day Chairman two years, received the Melvin Jones Fellow award for his Humanitarian Services from Lions Club in 2015-16. Pioneer Day Co-Marshall with his brother Larry in 2019.
Tom attended Paso Robles schools graduating from Paso Robles High School in 1955. He served the United States of America in the AirForce, 1955-1959, stationed in France for two years.
He is survived by his two daughters Cindy Moore Liggett (Dan Liggett) and Kay Moore, five grandchildren HD Liggett, Nicholas DeLong, McKenzie DeLong, Derek DeLong and Ashley DeLong Lopez (Rudy) and 2 great grandchildren Florence and Winn Lopez. He is also survived by his siblings Larry Moore, Cletis Moore, Weldon Moore and Melba Moore McKanna and many nieces and nephews. His older sister Colleen Moore Bruce preceded him in death. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A small funeral service with family and close friends will be held on March 4th at 10am at the Plymouth Congregational Church, grave side services to follow. (confirmation pending for Plymouth church)
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to any of the organizations listed above or the school his daughter Cindy is currently serving as head of schools at: The Village Christian Academy in Incline Village, Nevada.
His legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on through the many lives he touched.
