Edward "David" Sims, 91 former resident of Greenfield passed away on May 21, 2024.  He was born December 20, 1932 in Arkansas.

David was a King City High School graduate and attended Hartnell College and Livermore Bible College.  He was a past minister of Pentecostal Church of God, Sunday School Teacher and Youth Leader for 40+ years. He was a member of Assemblies of God in later years.

His past employments were Ace Hardware and Soledad Prison.

David is survived by his children, Dee (Steve) Dornan, Linda Neves, John Sims, and Sandy (Peter) Fedele; 18 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Lucy Sims; his sisters, Phyllis Taylor, and Janice Harp; brother, Charles Sims; parents, Erton and Laverne Sims.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Graveside inurnment will be held at 2pm, Friday, June 28, 2024 in the King City District Cemetery.
