Zenaida Andrade, 82 of King City passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at George L. Mee Memorial Hospital.
A Visitation will be held from 5pm -7pm, followed by a Rosary Service at 7pm, Sunday, October 30th. A Funeral Mass will be held 10am, Monday, October 31st. All services will be at St. John's Catholic Church in King City.
Mrs. Andrade was born in Michoacan, Mexico. She came to the United States in 1972. She has lived in Monterey County for 40 years. She worked as a farm labor worker in agriculture for 40 years. She loved gardening and cooking. Mrs. Andrade was a registered Democrat and proud of it She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them weather it was just visiting or partaking in a family B.B.Q. She loved the outdoors and camping. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid Barrack Obama supporter. It was important to her that she voted and made sure everyone else around her voted. She prided herself in always paying her bills on time.
Mrs. Andrade is survived by her daughters, Maria Velasquez, Emilia Hernandez and Nina Mendoza; her sons, Jose Mendoza, Macario Mendoza, Juan Mendoza, Miguel Mendoza and Antonio Mendoza; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
