William Earl Jordan passed away suddenly September 4, 2015. He was born August 19, 1955 at Saint Mary's Hospital in San Francisco.
He grew up in King City with his parent's Earl and Louise Jordan. He served in the United States Marines. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, spending time at the coast, having friends over for a barbecue, playing Pedro and horse shoes.
Bills passion was Ministry he was ordained as a Deacon of the First Baptist Church in King City in 1986, in 1990 he became a licensed Minister and in 1994 Bill was ordained as Minister of the Gospel of Christ. He served as a contract Chaplin at El Paso de Robles Boys School and an intern Chaplin at California Men's Colony from 1992 through 1994. He served as Treasure and Welfare Director for the King City Salvation Army from 1985 through 1994.
Bill worked in Prison Ministry for Match Two and Friends Outside from 1994 through November of 2002. On November 4, 2002 Bill began his career with the Department of Corrections at the Correctional Training Facility Soledad. On January 3, 2005 he transferred to Salinas Valley State Prison.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Laura Palmer Jordan, his daughter Leslee Shivner, (David), son Justin Jordan, (Maria), and daughter Genni Viau. Six grandchildren Justyce, David, Jordan, and Elijah Shivner and Bradly and Nevaeh Viau. His brother Thomas Earl Jordan, Mother in law Donna Palmer, Sister in law Nikki Neal (Randy), brother in law Pat Palmer (Cherise), brother in law Joes Palmer (Leslie) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the King City Bible Church.
Donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice.
