On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 the Lord came and took his daughter, Vickie Lynne Holman (Perez) home to be at his side. She lost her battle with pulmonary disease. She had suffered for several years, at Stanford University Hospital.
Vickie was born April 21, 1956 in Salinas, California. She was a member of A.A. in King City for several years. There she met a variety of beautiful people she called friends. Her past employments include, Tobachi's Family Restaurant in King City and the Long Branch Restaurant & Bar where she met her future husband, Ralph Perez of Guadalupe, Calif. Vickie and Ralph were together for 16 years and had completed 9 years of marriage. She was a dog lover to the max. She enjoyed going on long walks with her husband Ralph and her "Little Babies", as she called them. She lived her entire life in the King City and Salinas areas. She attended local schools.
She leaves behind her husband, Ralph; daughter, Brandi Waggoner (Jason) of Louisiana; son, Billy Waggoner (Kristi) of Prunedale; brother, Clarence Hamilton of Maine; 7 grandchildren and 1 nephew.
Vickie goes to be with her mother, Joyce Faye Miller; father, Clarence Lee Combs and her stepfather, John Harris. They all await her in Heaven.
Cremation services have taken place. However, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel, 429 Bassett St., King City, from 4pm to 8pm, there will be a time for family and friends to gather. This time is meant for family and friends to come together for sharing, reminiscing and to celebrate Vickie's life.
