Veronica A. Spence, 96 of San Francisco passed away on December 30, 2018.  She was born March 31, 1922 in Alameda, California.

She enjoyed knitting and cake decorating.  She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 347 and the American Legion Auxiliary 8/40 and a past president of American Legion Auxiliary State of California.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Anselmi and daughter, Michele Tarkington; grandsons, Anthony Anselmi and Keith Tarkington; granddaughters, Sheri Anselmi and Renee Rosa; great grandchildren, Jody and River Ray Anselmi, Maisy Regalado, Jacob, Nicholas, Rebecca Rosa and Alani Tarkington; also her brother, William Del Palacio.

A Chapel service followed by a graveside interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery, 1601 Hillside Blvd. in Colma, California.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so, may make donations to the American Legion Post of your choice.
