Velma Armer, 90 a longtime resident of Greenfield passed away peacefully on July 23, 2017 in Fresno, California at the age of 90. She was born to Virgil and Lettie Harveston on January 5, 1927 in Arkansas. Velma was a devoted wife to Arnold Armer and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Friends and family will always remember Velma for her love, support, and wisdom.  Nothing made her smile brighter than a grandbaby on her lap and a good laugh over a cold Pepsi with friends.  She always enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and taking care of her family.

She was preceded by her parents, Virgil and Lettie Harveston, her siblings, Carl, Dall, Vinnie, Vina, and Viva, and her daughter Deanna Taylor.

She is survived by her sons, David Jones and wife Barbara Dotta, Dennis Armer and wife Tamie, her grandchildren, Tracy Goddard and husband Dane, David Taylor, Brittney Jones, Amanda Delgado and husband Chris, James Armer, and her five great-grandchildren, Blake Haydon, Brenden Goddard, Deanna Goddard, Ashton Goddard, and Olivia Delgado.

SERVICE INFORMATION:
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 1 ^st at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel in King City, Calif.  Burial will follow at King City Cemetery in King City, CA.
