Tim Dayton, 44, passed away Thursday, June 10th at his home in Bryson, CA.

Tim graduated from King City High School in 1995 and served in the U.S. Army from 1996-2006. He served as a medic and nurse, completed a tour in Iraq, and was a Sergeant when he was honorably discharged.

He settled in Texas and continued working as a nurse, enjoying the outdoors and riding motorcycles. In 2017 he returned to his family home where he worked as a ranch hand and helped people in the community.

His mother Kelly Melancon, née Barbree, died in 2008. He is survived by his father, Bill, his sister Cassy Lee, and his brothers Jake and Cody Dayton as well as three nephews, four nieces, and dozens of cousins.

There will be a private memorial service for close family and friends. We are proud of his service to our country, his spirit of generosity, and we are glad his soul is at rest.
