Teresa M. Murillo, 80 of King City passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was born October 3, 1935 in Mexico City, Mexico.
Teresa came to the United States at the age of 19. She first came to Texas and eventually moved to King City. It was here that she met and married Antonio Murillo. Together they had four children.
Her past employments included working as a cook for the Braceros and working at L.A. Hearne Company. But she probably enjoyed most caring for children. She babysat for many families and churches in the area. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, card games and watching Spanish soap operas. But her most enjoyable was spending time with her grandchildren.
Teresa is survived by her children, Dan Murillo, Bill Murillo, Alice Cenobio and Judy Murillo; grandchildren, Marissa, Bill, Jr., Cali, Mari, Cassandra and Catilin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Murillo.
A Visitation is scheduled for 9am, Friday, April 8, 2016 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel, 429 Bassett Street, King City. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third Street in King City. Interment will take place in King City District Cemetery.
