On January 14, 2022, Mrs. Teofila Nava passed away in Monterey, California.  She was born January 12, 1937 in Jeruco, Michoacan, Mexico.

She so loved her gatherings with all her children, grandchildren and cooking for them every Sunday. Teofila was married for 44 years to her late husband Facundo Nava whom she met in their hometown of Jeruco, Michoacan, Mexico.

She worked for San Bernabe Vineyards for 22 years.  She is survived by: Adelina (Jaime) Rico, Marisela (Gerardo) Vasquez, Yolanda (Andres) Casimiro, Efrain (Lilia) Nava, Sivilina (Lauriano) Cervantes, Rosalina (Elias) Felix, Edwin (Delia) Nava, Edelmira Nava, 28 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Facundo Nava and son Facundo Nava Jr.

Service Info:

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City.  A Rosary service will follow at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the King City District Cemetery.
