Susan Kleber, 75 of King City passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.  She was born, September 23, 1945 in Brooklyn Navy Yard, NY.

Susan first came to California as a child with her family.  She eventually returned to the East Coast.  She met and married Ed Kleber while living in Connecticut. Ed's employment enabled them to reside in Pittsburg, PA, Atlanta, GA, on to Danville, CA, Marin County, CA even a brief time in Hong Kong.  They eventually moved to King City in 1995.  Since then King City is where Susan called home.

Susan has always been community minded. She served on the Danbury, Connecticut Town Committee.  Once in King City, she served on the King City Planning Commission for 6 years and King City's City Council for 8 years.  She had a passion for cooking and wrote a cooking column for the South Monterey County Real Estate and Living brochure for several years.  She was a member of the King City Republican Woman's Club and the Virginia Glosson Book Club.

Susan is survived by her husband Ed Kleber; children, Russell P. From and wife Vailia of San Luis Obispo, CA, Elizabeth A. From of Hudson NH, Christopher E Kleber and wife Nanci of Niagara Falls, NY, Kelly A. Kleber of Taylors Town, PA; 3 grandchildren and sister, Sheryl A. Finsmith of Bristol CT.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
