Susan Gale Crocker Moats passed away peacefully at Hospice House of Modesto April 21, 2016. She was 72. Susan was born January 10, 1944 in Carmel, California.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel, 429 Bassett Street, King City. Susan will be laid to rest at King City Cemetery District.
She attended her elementary school years in Salinas ,ca where she resided with her parents Phil and Olive Crocker. Susan and her family relocated to King City when she was twelve years old. She attended San Lorenzo Junior High and went on to King City High School. Soon after high school, Susan married and started a family of her own. Her time as a homemaker was spent mostly being a busy mom to four children. Susan was a very involved parent, volunteering for King City 4-H, King City Little League, King City Riding Club, and an active member of the King City Junior Women's Club. She enjoyed cooking, house boating at Shasta Lake, camping and boating trips to San Antonio Lake, decorating her house and gardening. Susan also enjoyed a part time job with The Redi Western Store in King City. Her family and her Grand Children were her biggest joy. After retirement, Susan and her husband Bill, relocated to Modesto, ca, and have made it their home.
Susan is survived by her husband William (Bill) Moats, daughter Holly Thompson (David), Son Michael Bray (Melissa), Son Barney Bray (Irene), grandchildren James Valdez, Tahnee Bray, Delaney Bray, Kailyn Bray, Lauren Bray, Kelly Bray Barker, Will Bray, Casey Bray, and a great granddaughter Gracie Barker, and her brother David Crocker.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Olive Crocker, a brother Richard Crocker, and a daughter Melissa Bray.
