Sharon Kaye Taylor, 80 of Atascadero, Calif. passed away Sept. 18, 2026 in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Sharon was born In Atascadero Calif. in October 1945 to Ralph & Ilene Rowlett Cropper who preceded her in death.

In 1963 she graduated from Atascadero High School. That same year she married the love of her life, John Z. Taylor.

Sharon attended the San Jacinto Rd. Church of Christ her entire life. She loved canning, baking, cooking, gardening and getting together with her large extended family. She enjoyed traveling and researching her ancestry. She cherished her wonderful sons, grandsons and their wives. Then to her delight along came the GREAT grands.

Sharon will be forever missed by her devoted husband of 63 years, John Z. Taylor; sons, Rodney Taylor &wife Rachelle, John D. Taylor & wife, Jodi.; grandsons, Dace Taylor & wife, Brianna, Dakota Taylor & wife, Hailey, Dalton Taylor & wife, Jillian, & Hayden Taylor; great grandchildren, Hooper, Josephine, Dalley, Ty & Wayce Taylor. Her foster brother Vergil Coble & wife, Judy. Their daughter, Jenna Wyatt & Tom, and daughters, Mckenna & Rilee. Also surviving are the extended Taylor, Cropper, & Rowlett families & her many friends.

With broken hearts we must say the tough goodbye, believing we will see our beloved Sharon once again . . .

A Graveside Burial will take place, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026 in the Templeton Cemetery, 100 Templeton Cemetery Rd., Paso Robles, CA 93446.
