Sebastian "Sam" Casorla Jr., age 77, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 7th, 2013 surrounded by his loving family, after a long courageous battle with prostate cancer.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A VISITATION will be held at Eddington Funeral Services, 333 E. San Antonio Drive, King City on Friday October 18, 2013 at 10am.

A GRAVESIDE Service will follow at 2:00pm at King City District Cemetery.

Sam was born January 18th 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY to Sebastian Casorla Sr and Mary Martinez Casorla. He spent his childhood years in King City, California. Sam was a total people person, a friend to everyone, and loved to chat. Those who were blessed enough to know Sam, know that he was a true and trusted friend. Sam worked at the King City Post Office for over 30 years before he retired. Sam had a passion for repairing appliances and was very good at it. In the 90's, Sam moved his second wife and family to Las Vegas, NV where he achieved his dream of owning his own appliance repair shop.

Even though Sam lived away from his grandchildren and great-grand children he cherished every moment he got to spend with them. Grandpa Sam will always be remembered for his kindness, loving heart and adoring conversations.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years Aracely Rivera Casorla. He is also survived by his 3 children: Patricia (David) Baker, Christie Casorla (Joseph), Brad Casorla; Step-daughter Jenny Lara, Step-son Milton Barahona, 6 grandchildren, Brandon (Brittany) Casorla, Ryan Worley, Dillon Worley, Matthew (Kara) Casorla, Gary Rider , Catherine Campbell and 4 great-grandchildren Jadyn Casorla, Landon Casorla, Laney Casorla, Logan Casorla. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Louis Casorla.
