Santiago Benavides, Jr. 56 of King City passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012.
Santiago, better known as "Jimmy" came to King City as a youth with his family as they traveled to the area working in agriculture. He attended King City schools and graduated from King City High School in 1975. He was a simple man who enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He was a hard worker and loved spending time with his parents.
Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Monique (Hector) Benavides and Andrea Benavides; sons, Santiago "Jimmy" (Martha) Benavides III and Marc Benavides; 8 grandchildren; mother, Maria Benavides; brothers, Raul (Rosario) Benavides, Oscar (Martha) Benavides; sisters, Diana Benavides and Laura (Raul) Silva. He is preceded in death by his father, Santiago Benavides Sr. and grandson, Hector Vasquez.
Per Jimmy's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
