Sandra Price, 79 of King City passed away after a lengthy illness October 12, 2016. She was born August 25, 1937 in Westmont, Illinois to Clara and Archie Crane.
She moved to El Centro, California with her first husband, Edward Muzylowski, in 1957 where he was stationed at the Navy base there. They were divorced and Sandra married Ralph Price in 1965.
The family moved to King City in 1966 where Ralph was assigned as a deputy sheriff. Sandra worked for the Rural Health Project in King City for 15 years.
She was a devoted mother and wife. For 30 years she bred and hand fed canaries and kept a menagerie of many other beautiful birds. She created wonderful crocheted afghan blankets and wraps that won first prize at the county fair. She was an avid genealogist who created an extensive historical database for her family. She painted and fired ceramics, including dolls, in her own kiln in the garage and amassed a significant collection of dolls of all shapes and sizes.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ralph, and 3 children, Edward Muzylowski of Arroyo Seco, California, Steven Muzylowski of Sacramento, and Tammy Muzylowski Biles of Berryville, Arkansas.
Memorial services will be a private family matter.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Audubon Society.
