Sandie Lockwood-Johnson age 49 of Arroyo Seco passed away on August 9, 2017.  Sandie was born at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs on October 29, 1967. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Jimmy Johnson; two fur children, Hemi and Chassis; parents, Bob and Sandy Lockwood of Greenfield; sister, Laura Tucker; brother-in-law, Mike, and her nephew Shaun, of King City. She also leaves behind more friends and admirers than we can count.

A graduate of King City High School, Sandie grew up in Greenfield with her family and later moved to Arroyo Seco with her husband.  Sandie was recently recognized as the recipient of the Support Services Employee of the Year for her nearly 30 years of service as an employee for the State of California.  She enjoyed giving back to her community as a member of the Salinas Valley Fair Heritage Foundation and a charter member of the VFW auxiliary in King City.  She was an avid sun worshipper, Coors Light aficionado, lover of car races, and long tropical vacations with her husband and friends. Sandie was a thoughtful, warm, and fun-loving person who brought laughter and light to all she met.  She is truly missed.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5:00 p.m., Dinner at 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2017 in the Orradre Building of the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division St., King City. Join us in celebrating a unique and amazing woman.
