Obituary
Ronny Lee Whitlock, 72 of Sunnyvale, California passed away at his home on Friday, February 27, 2015.
Ronny was born, October 22, 1942 in Hayward, California. He came to Greenfield with his family at an early age. He attended local schools and graduated from King City High School where his interests included wood shop, automotive and music.
He was in construction for 45 years. He moved back to the San Jose area in the late 1970's early 1980's. This is where he met and married the love of his life, Waunita "Nita" Sargente. They would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary this year.
Ronny enjoyed playing music, singing, playing his guitar, metal detecting and prospecting. He was a member of a band called the Gold Dusters. They played for over 10 years at local venues throughout Monterey County. He was a Christian and a good and honest man. He will truly be missed by all.
Ronny is survived by his wife, of 23 years, Waunita "Nita" Whitlock of Sunnyvale; brother, Will Whitlock of Douglasville, Georgia; step-daughter, Kimberly (Art) Hendrickson of Madison, Wisconsin; 3 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul Whitlock.
SERVICE INFORMATION:
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 in King City District Cemetery.
