Ronald Phillip Tirado, 62 long time resident of King City passed away, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Memorial Medical Ctr. in Modesto, Calif.

Ron was born in Salinas, Calif. August 30, 1950. He grew up in King City and graduated from King City High School in 1968 where he participated in track and field. His hobbies included running, bicycling, gardening and playing softball. He was an avid SF 49er and SF Giants fan.
Ron worked as a grocery and produce clerk for Safeway and retired after 36 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a past member of the King City Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife, Elva Tirado; children, Phillip (Tabitha) Tirado and Lisa (Allen) Davis; grandchildren, Ava Tirado, Carlo Tirado and Jordan Davis; bothers, Fidel Tirado and David (Margie) Tirado. He is preceded in death by his parents.
