Obituary

Ronald James Rodriguez, 20, of Soledad passed away unexpectedly, June 7th, 2015. He was the second oldest of 4 boys. He was always very nurturing and respectable. Even at a young age, he helped his dad out by looking after his brothers. He was interested in art and loved to draw. Ronald often made homemade greeting cards for his family's birthdays. He always had a good story to tell about his adventures.

Ron enjoyed going to low rider car shows with his Uncle Steven and buying parts for his low rider bike. He belonged to Ernie's Creations bike club. He loved music and collected old albums. His record player was one of his favorite things. His favorite types of music were Psycho-Billy, Punk, Rock, Metal and Oldies. Because of his style and looks, his nickname was Buddy Holly. He was very unique. He was the only guy that could rock skinny Jeans and still look cool. He was one of a kind, from his style of clothes to his hairstyle. You never knew if he was going to have a perfect pompadour or a Mohawk.

Ronald graduated from Soledad High School in 2013. After graduating, he looked after his brothers. Ron had more responsibilities than a normal kid his age would, but he never thought twice and took care of what he had to do. He loved spending time with his dad and 3 brothers Ruben, Ryan and Riley.

He always had a smile on his face and was always upbeat. Ron always put others before himself. He was always there to offer help or lend a hand to anyone and everyone. He would always greet you with a hug and his smile lit up a room. He was not afraid to show his love or affection for you. Everyone that Ron came in contact with loved him.

His second home was King City, where he spent time with his grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He touched everybody's hearts wherever he was at. He will be deeply missed by his Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and his cousins.

Ronald also enjoyed spending time in Salinas with his extended family, Toni, Grammie and Jade and the family dog Lucky, who loved him very much.

Ronald is preceded in death by his Uncle Albert Velasques and his cousin Ernesto Rodriguez.

Ronald is survived by his father Reynaldo Rodriguez Jr, his brothers Ruben Rodriguez (22), Ryan Rodriguez (17) and Riley Rodriguez (9). Also, his grandparents Alice and Reynaldo (Roy) Rodriguez Sr,, Uncle Steven, Aunt Veronica, and his cousins Dee Dee, Fanny and Isaac (Chubby) of King City and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ronald will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
