Robin Lyne Borzini, 55, of King City, California, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, and went home to heaven to be with the Lord. Robin was born on February 2, 1971, in Vallejo, California, to James Darrell Gardner and Elizabeth Anne Gardner. She was the beloved sister of the late Richard “Ricky” Gardner.
In 1974, her family moved to King City, where her parents owned and operated the town’s first franchised 7-Eleven and later co-owned and operated the NAPA Auto Parts store. Robin attended preschool at the VFW Hall, Santa Lucia Elementary School, and San Lorenzo Middle School before graduating from King City High School in 1989. She continued her education at Hartnell College and later studied Agricultural Finance at Arizona Western College while living in Yuma, Arizona.
At the age of 19, Robin welcomed her first daughter, Bahlie Anne Gardner. She returned to King City in 1997 to raise her with the support of her family and began a long and dedicated career in banking. Starting at Great Western Bank, she continued through its transitions to Washington Mutual and later Chase Bank, where she served as an assistant manager. Robin was deeply loved by both customers and colleagues for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication.
On August 15, 2002, she welcomed her second daughter, Taryn Rose Borzini. Robin lived a vibrant life filled with shopping sprees, gatherings with friends at favorite restaurants and wineries, and, most importantly, time with her family. She especially loved being near the water with a chilled glass of wine in hand.
In 2017, Robin was diagnosed with non-small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. She faced her illness with remarkable strength and faith, often saying, “With my faith, family, and friends, all things are possible. A day above ground is a good day.” A devoted daughter, loving mother, proud “Glamma,” and a kind sister not only to Ricky but to all her dear friends.
Robin later moved in to care for her mother. She remained active in her community and cherished the many friendships she built over a lifetime of kindness and service. Even through her illness, she found ways to keep moving forward, often joking that she had the “good-looking cancer.” Her beauty shone through her radiant smile and the love she carried, both outwardly and, most importantly, within.
Robin is survived by her daughters, Bahlie Anne Borzini and Taryn Rose Borzini; her mother, Elizabeth Anne Gardner; her granddaughter, Gracelyne Marie Borzini; her step-grandsons, Riley Monroe Rios and Ian Anthony Rios; and a grandson expected on April 14, 2026, whom she was eagerly anticipating. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to honor her life and legacy.
