IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Earl
Willis
January 26, 1937 – October 2, 2019
Robert Earl Willis, passed peacefully at his home in Greenfield, California surrounded by his family.
Robert was born to George Washington Willis and Nellie Marie Willis in Dallas, Texas. He spent his youth & young adulthood as a migrant worker. He was drafted into the Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis were he went through Jungle Warfare School in Panama (which he told his children about on many occasions!). After he was discharged he settled in the Salinas Valley and worked in the potato industry for 50 years in the Salinas and San Joaquin Valleys.
An avid fisherman his whole life, he traveled the West, fishing and camping. This instilled a love of the outdoors in his children.
He is survived by his children Carl, Jason, Tonya, Colby, Shannon and Carla plus grandchildren Zach, Ollie and Bastian.
There are no limits on bass in heaven pop, catch as many as you want!
No services are planned at this time but feel free to raise a cold one in remembrance.
