IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ricardo
Deleon
June 12, 1976 – September 5, 2021
Ricardo (Ricky) DeLeon, 45 of San Lucas died on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
Ricky was born June 12, 1976 in King City, California to Bernardo DeLeon Jr. and Debra Hill. He is survived by his mother Debra, his sister Sarah Chavez, brother, Enrique DeLeon, and several nieces and nephews.
Ricky was raised by his father and grandparents alongside his two siblings at the DeLeon Ranch in San Lucas, California. He grew up in a big family, surrounded by all his uncles, aunts, and cousins. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time playing video games, building go-carts, swimming in the Salinas River and most importantly playing with his many cousins.
He graduated from King City High School. After high school he worked some time for Basic Vegetable Products. He learned many skills from his uncles and aunts such as carpentry and cooking, which came in handy at the DeLeon Ranch. Ricky was always very helpful, we could always count on him to get the job done! He had the opportunity to travel to Southeast Asia, Mexico, and around the United States. He lived for many years in Texas with his father Bernardo, before he passed in April of 2021. In his spare time, Ricky enjoyed walking his dogs, riding his bike, spending time with his nieces and nephews, drinking beers and listening to music with his cousins and his many friends.
In addition, Ricky studied with Jehovah Witnesses and learned about the resurrection hope. He relied on this hope to help comfort him when dealing with the loss of his father, grandmother, and other loved ones.
We all have many fond memories of his laughter and the joy Ricky brought to those around him. When Ricky was around, there was never a dull moment! We all love Ricky very much and we will always remember his beautiful smile, green eyes, and laughter. He will always be in our hearts.
Until we meet again!
