Refugio Reyes-Gomez, 62 of King City passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.  He was born November 18, 1954 in Guanajuato, Mexico.

He loved to spend time with his grandchildren.  Family was his life and he was always encouraging to them.  He always made sure you were O.K.  You never went home hungry.  He was happy cooking for his family and friends.  His tacos and salsa were the best.

He enjoyed listening to music. He could light up a room when he entered.  He always had a smile on his face.  He enjoyed a good conversation having a good laugh with his loved ones.  He was a fan of baseball, New York Yankees being his favorite baseball team.

Refugio is survived by his wife, Josefina Reyes; Daughter, Maria Jaime (Andres Jaime; sons, Jose Reyes (Alicia Trujillo), Andres Reyes and Antonio Reyes; and 9 grandchildren.

A VISITATION will be held, 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at a family member's home, 470 Lewis St. in King City.
A RECITATION OF THE ROSARY will start, 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the 470 Lewis St. home.
A FUNERAL MASS is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City
