Ramona Mireles, 83 of King City passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.  She was born August 31, 1937 in Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Ramona enjoyed crocheting and watching soap operas.  She loved to cook her favorite recipes for her grandchildren. It gave her joy to help people.  She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Family was most important to her.

During her working years she was employed by Basic American Foods in King City. Ramona was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church and a past member of their Guadalupana Society.  Praying the novenas gave her comfort.

She is survived by her son, Antonio Mireles and Gloria Ramos; her grandchildren Paula and Antonio Mireles; her sister, Soledad Murillo and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aurelio Mireles and her daughter-in-law, Lisa K. Mireles.

One of her favorite sayings was in a song, "La vida no vale nada, comiense siempre llorando, Y asi llorando se acaba".

The following services with limited attendance will be held:

A public visitation from 5pm to 6pm followed by a 6pm Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel on Friday, January 8, 2021.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. John's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the King City District Cemetery.
