Obituary
Pedro Rios Arellano, 33 of King City passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015. He was born on March 15, 1982 in King City.
Pedro was a lifelong resident of King City. He attended local grade schools and King City High School. He was always willing to help anyone. He had a huge heart. His loving and caring personality will surely be missed. He seemed to always put others first. His problems were minimal when it came to caring for others. There was a lot of truth to the saying, "He had a heart of gold", because Pete really did.
He enjoyed being with people, riding his bicycle around town, visiting and just helping others. He could be found during school days at the 7-11 store during lunch hour on many occasions. There, he volunteered as the door monitor controlling the amount of students in the store at once. Pete loved animals. His kind disposition allowed him to help with friends and neighbor's pets. He even raised roosters and would give them away. Pete enjoyed dancing and working in his yard.
Pete's loving caring and unselfish nature didn't stop at his death. Pete wanted to be a donor to help others. So his heart, lungs and other organs are being used to give life to someone in need.
Pete was preceded in death by his mother, Elena Navarro Rios, whom he missed very much and always spoke of her. We take comfort in knowing that he is now with her. He will be missed, but we believe he is happily in his mother's arms.
Pete is survived by his aunt, Irene Rios, who was like a mother to him; his brothers, Alex Navarro, Eduardo Arellano and Jorge Arellano; as well as many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICE SCHEDULE:
A VISITATION will start at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2015.
A RECITATION OF THE ROSARY will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2015.
A FUNERAL MASS will be held, 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 12, 2015.
All services will be held at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City. Burial will follow in King City Cemetery.
The family is in need of assistance for funeral expenses. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
