Obituary

Paulina Q. Medina, 71 of King City passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.

VISITATION:
A Visitation will be held 4pm – 9pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Comunidad Cristiana Church, 1200 Broadway, King City, Calif.

FUNERAL SERVICES:
A Funeral Service will be held 10am, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Comunidad Cristiana Church. Interment will follow at King City District Cemetery.

Paulina was born in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico September 13, 1940. Her family lived in Guadalajara before moving to the United States. Together with her husband and children they have called King City their home since 1977.

Mrs. Medina enjoyed cooking, gardening, being a host, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived every day to its fullest and had a strong Christian faith; her church was her second home where she enjoyed her time for prayer. Paulina was very proud for obtaining her U.S. citizenship and didn't take everyday life for granted. She was a loving, caring person and her door was always open. Her loving caring spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Medina is survived by her husband, Jose Medina; sons, Jose Medina, Jr.(Maricruz Funnes), Ramiro Medina (Betty Zavala); daughters, Lilia (Patrick) Nuck, Adriana (James) Giudici, Letty (Jesse) Serrano, Alicia (Ernie) Diaz, Carolina Medina (Junior Nuño), Tammy Utoafili Medina; 23 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Jose Enrique Quintana, Abel Quintana, Juan Quintana; sisters, Teresa Quintana and Florita Quintana. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Enrique Diaz.
