Obituary

On Monday, September 19, 2022, Patricia Rae Schleve passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in King City, CA.  She was born November 14, 1929, in Antigo Wisconsin.

Pat loved the arts.  Her hobbies throughout the years included:  drama, ballroom dancing, painting, photography, quilting and bridge.

Pat was a member of The Stage Hands for many years.  She created quilts and attended quilting classes in King City.  Pat enjoyed painting and attended workshops in Lockwood instructed by Connie Brown. She attended ballroom dancing classes in Monterey and competed in dancing competitions.  Pat enjoyed playing Bridge with many members of the King City community.

Patricia was married for over 30 years to her husband Clifford E. Schleve until his passing from cancer.

She was a teacher and taught for over 25 years in various communities.  She began her teaching career in Canby and Alturas, California.  She continued her teaching experiences in Olivehurst, California and then Greenfield.  After her retirement, she continued as a substitute teacher in Soledad Unified School District.

Pat is survived by her sister, Jeanne Dickinson; her son, Tom Schleve and her daughter, Dawn Schleve Gerard (Jon).

To honor her life, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Donations in her memory can be made to the local arts such as The Stage Hands, Sol Treasures and other local programs.
