Obituary
Palmira Delponte, 98 of Greenfield, California passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015. Born May 23, 1917 in Gonzales, California.
Palmira attended schools in Gonzales. She enjoyed visiting with her many Greenfield friends. She loved cooking her delicious dishes of polenta and stew and lasagna for her family and friends. She was a past volunteer Pink Lady at Mee Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Holy Trinity Alter Society.
Palmira is survived by her children, Joy Bernal of Paso Robles, Sondra Grissom of Amelia, Ohio; grandchildren, Tim, Mike and Steve Bernal, Valarie Huff, Mark and Lance Grissom and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Aldo DelPonte and her daughter, Debbie DelPonte.
Those wishing to may make donations to Eden Valley Care Facility, 612 Main St., Soledad, CA 93960.
SERVICE INFORMATION:
A VISITAITON will be held at 7pm, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Eddington Funeral Services.
A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at 10am, Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Greenfield, California.
Mrs. DelPonte will be laid to rest beside her husband, Aldo DelPonte in Holy Trinity Cemetery following the mass.
