Orella Raschella, 90 of King City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 with family at her side. She was born May 4, 1923 in Gonzales, California.

While working in Gonzales as a bookkeeper, Orella met Norman Raschella. They later married and established their home in King City.

Orella, or "Babe" as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was most proud of her beautiful flowers grown around the family home. She took pride in making beautiful floral arrangements for church and family functions.

She was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and in earlier years volunteered her time at St. John's Parochial School.

Orella was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Norman, and a son, Jerry.

She is survived by a son, Tom of the family home; daughter-in-law, Margaret; sister-in-law, Lucille; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 6-8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be 10 am, Monday, December 9, 2013. Burial will follow at King City Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Mee Memorial Hospital Foundation or to one's favorite charity.
