Obituary

Norma Jean Dayton, age (per Norma, "None of your damn business") of King City passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Eulogy Service is scheduled for 12 noon, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the San Ardo Grange Hall, Main Street, San Ardo, Calif.

She was born in Pacific Grove and grew up in the Bradley area. Norma is a decendent of the Henry Veach family.

Norma eventually moved to King City and graduated from King City High School in 1950. She enjoyed gambling and playing cards. She loved music, had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. She dearly loved her family. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Norma was a waitress in excess of twenty-five years. She gladly served up many dishes to her family and friends while being employed by the Kings Table and Keefer's Restaurants.

Norma is survived by her son, Steve (Debbie) Pryor; Kelly (Hans) Wittstrom; grandchildren, Kevin, Kori, Kati, Kiffiny and Kasey; six great grandchildren; brothers, Sam McKibbin, Jimmy Newton and Ray Newton. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Newell Dayton.
