Natividad (Naty) Flores, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026 in Clovis, CA. She was born on September 8, 1930 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Porifirio Carrion and Guadalupe (Pena) Carrion. She had one brother, Mauricio and two sisters, Guadalupe and Josefina.
On December 16, 1951, Naty was united in marriage to Andres Flores. She was a supportive wife and a loving mother but raising 6 boys wasn’t an easy job. She ran a tight ship and made sure her children were taken good care of. Naty was a talented seamstress, making clothes for the boys and an excellent cook. She made creative meals from very few ingredients.
Andres wanted a better life for his family. So, in 1966, he up and left their Texas families, heading to California. He found work in Greenfield and ended up working and living in King City.
In 1968, Andres and Naty had their last child, a daughter, and the family was complete. Naty loved watching her children’s sports and made sure they made it to all their events. She was their biggest supporter. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
When the last child entered school, Naty got a job working at Mee Memorial Hospital as an Admitting Clerk. Naty enjoyed her job and her time at the hospital. After working for 20 years, she retired at the age of 65.
Naty is preceded in death by her husband, Andres (1997). They were married for 46 years.
Naty is survived by her seven children, Andy (Maria) of Moore, OK, Louie (Sabrina) of Fresno, CA, Mario (Janet) of Fresno, CA, Carlos (Pam) of Hillsboro, OR, Rick (Cecilia) of Madera, CA, Ralph (Joy) of King City, CA and Marty (Rey) Orito of Fresno, CA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A service was held to honor her life on June 6, 2026 at the Chapel of Light in Fresno, CA.
