Monique V. Hill, 52 of King City passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012.

Monique was born December 9, 1959 in Willows, Calif. She attended and graduated from Willows High School. Monique met Rick Hill in Red Bluff, Calif. and they were soon married. They have one daughter, Rebecca.
Rick's job pursuit soon moved the family to Port Angeles, Wash. In 1982 the family moved to King City and they joined Rick's dad in business at the Sears Catalog Store. After the passing of Rick's father, Monique and Rick continued to operate the catalog store for approximately 10 years. They soon opened Hill's Furniture Store on the 400 block of Broadway which they owned and operated for 8 years. Throughout this time Monique was employed as a clerk with Basic Vegetable Products and the Power Plant for approximately 11 years.
Monique enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, cooking, and camping. She was a past member of the King City Jaycees.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Hill of King City; daughter, Rebecca (James) Deckert of Rosamond, Calif.; her grandchildren, James, Logan and Elizabeth; sisters, Kim, Bobbie, Candice and Melody.
A Celebration of Monique's life will be held (date/time) at (place).
In lieu of flowers the family wished donations to be sent to the Mee Memorial Hospital Foundation for use at the King City Dialysis Center.
