Matthew James Silveira, 61 Lifelong resident of Greenfield passed away June 25, 2019 at his home in Greenfield.  He was born May 6, 1958 in King City.

Matt spent his younger days on the family farm. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Later in life he developed a passion for photography. He was a lifelong Led Zepplin fan as well the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys.

Matt was a member of the Greenfield High School Boosters.  He also was a lifelong Staunch Republican and proud of it.

Matt is survived by his wife, Annie Silveira, married October 23, 1982; daughter, Leslie Silveira; son, Gordon and daughter-in-law, Samantha Jo Silveira; grand daughters, Audrey and Melanie; aunt, Laurie Balgua and niece, Amber Balgua.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to South County Animal Rescue (SCAR) in honor of all the stray dogs Matt brought home over the years or to the Greenfield High school Boosters.

Graveside Services: There will be a Graveside Service, 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at the Holy Trinity Cemetery, 917 Elm Ave., Greenfield, Calif.

Celebration of Life: Immediately following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life at the Paraiso Vineyards Tasting Room, 37500 Foothill Rd., Soledad, California
