Mary Valadez, 86 of King City passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 with her family by her side.  She was born July 11, 1935 in King City.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and confidant. She loved sewing, getting lost in a film or a good book.  She enjoyed traveling to places new and old.

Mary was a member of Silver Kings and Queens and past Tour Director of the organization.  She was also a loyal member of a local quilting club.

She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Shine Foster, Christine Valadez Artea, Margaret Valadez Baker; grandchildren, Dustin and Andrew Wood, Jonathan and Sam Baker, Daniel and April Artea; her sister, Emily Magana; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon A. Valadez.

A Visitation will be held from 4pm – 6pm followed by a 6pm Rosary service on Monday, June 6, 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City, Calif.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church.
