Mary Phyllis Taylor, 79 of Greenfield, passed away Monday December 1, 2014 at Clearview Carehomes, Inc. in Hollister, CA. She was born March 3, 1935 in Carrollton, Arkansas. She moved to California with her family when she was very young where she lived on farms and enjoyed small town life. She met her loving husband Richard in Greenfield and they were married August 16, 1952. She graduated high school as one of the few married seniors in June, 1953 from King City High School. She retired from Bank of America after a 25 year career. She loved being a Sunday school teacher in the past and attended First Assembly of God, Greenfield. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, co-worker and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Taylor in June 2012 her parents: Erton & Mary Laverne Sims siblings: Charles Sims and her child: Gayla Oliveira.
She is survived by children: Michael Taylor (JulieAnn), Jayme McPhee (Norman) and surviving son in law Jeff Oliveira. Siblings: Edward David Sims (Lucy), Janice Harp and surviving sister in law Carol Sims. Grandchildren: Carrie Oliveira (Lupe Velasco), Myriah Martinez (David), Jania Woods, Robyn Woods, Brandon McPhee and Taylor Adel Clifton. Great-grandchildren: Leah Oliveira, Rebecca Velasco, Alison Marcelino, Richard and Rachel Woods, Derrick Salinas and great-great-grandchild: Dahlilah Perez and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A FUNERAL SERVICE is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Eddington Funeral Services, King City, CA.
Burial to follow at King City Cemetery.
