Mary Lou Gonzalez, 90 of Green Valley, Ariz. passed away Friday, August 10, 2012. Born April 4, 1922 to Guadalupe Enriquez and Julia Gutierrez Enriquez.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

VISITATION will be held, 5pm to 7pm, Friday, August 17, 2012.

ROASARY SERVICE will follow, 7pm at Eddington Funeral Services.

FUNERAL MASS is scheduled, 10 am., Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Greenfield. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Mary Lou enjoyed gardening, doing jigsaw puzzles, attending family gatherings and she had a great love for pets. She worked for the Greenfield Elementary School in the cafeteria from 1961 to 1964. She owned and operated Colony Dry Goods Store from 1965 to 1985. She was a past Mee memorial Hospital Volunteer and Board Member.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Gloria E. Militano and son, Pete Gonzalez, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Rachel Gonzalez; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Gonzalez, Sr., son, Leo Gonzalez, Jr.; son-in-laws, Antonio (Tony) Escamill, Sr. and Ron P. Militano.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the doctor, nurses, therapy department and caregivers at the Santa Rita Nursing Home. She was given care, support and lots of love. Our mom was happy and content for the time she was there. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
