MARY ADAMES GONZALES
BORN: August 20, 1931 to Felipa Torrez and Alberto Adames in Luling, Texas. She passed away January 7, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Mary came to California in 1945, arriving to the California Orchard Company with her Mom and siblings. There she met and married, Louis Mike Gonzales. Mary worked for Basic Vegetable Products for 39 years. After her retirement Mary enjoyed dedicating her time to her always beautiful garden. Something beautiful was always blooming in her yard. She could plant a stick and it grew to give beautiful flowers. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family always listening to music. Her most happy times were spent traveling with her daughter Angela and her family to different places. Vegas was her favorite. Her physical presence will be forever missed but she will forever live in the hearts of those that loved her.
She is survived by her Children, Cecilia (Ramiro)Gomez, Mike Gonzales, Jess (Linda), Virginia (Michael) Romero and Angela (Joe) Camarena. 16 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. As well as her Forever Special "Bonus Granddaughter, Kamilah. Brother Terry and Sisters Margaret and Liz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Mike Gonzales; son Joe Gonzales; brother, Joe Adames; mother, Felipa Torrez; sisters, Antonia Regalado, Innocencia Camacho, and Frances Sanchez, and her bonus daughter, Edelia Duran.
Service Information:
A Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm, Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel.
A Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass will start at 10am on Friday, January 19, 2024 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City.
Burial will follow in the King City District Cemetery.
