Martin Alvarez, 55 of King City passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Salinas, Calif.  Martin was born July 21, 1963 in Michoacan, Mexico.

Mr. Alvarez came to the United States in search of a better life in 1984.  He has been in the So. Monterey County area ever since.  He has worked in agriculture and most recently as a tractor operator.

Services for Mr. Alvarez are as follows:

A Visitation has been scheduled at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel for Monday, January 21, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm followed by a Recitation of the Rosary will be said at 7pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. John's Catholic Church.

Burial will take place in King City District Cemetery following the Funeral Mass.
