Marjorie Bea Sarina, 94 of King City passed away at home on January 17th, 2022 at 7:03am.  She was born March 30th, 1927 in Ozark, Arkansas.

Marge was born and raised in Arkansas. She attended the college of the Ozark's at a time where most women didn't attend college, where she was a member of the school choir and worked in the cafeteria putting herself through college.

Marge was a proud resident of King City. She began her career at the state Forestry offices in King City before transferring to the municipal court. Marge moved to city hall in 1964 and in 1980 was elected as City Clerk. In the 29 years she served the City of King many changes took place including the highway 101 bi-pass, construction of Mee Memorial hospital, a new recreation center and swimming pool complex, several additional subdivisions and new schools. A new fire house and police station and the King City Center. In one way or another Marge was a part of all of it.

Marge was married to her late husband, Chet for 73 years before he passed, they were meant for each other. The two were notorious for dancing and were the apple of the others eye. Marge and Chet met shortly after she came to King City. Together, Marge and Chet raised four children, Mike, Craig, Larry and Annette.

Marge was the definition of class and elegance. Throughout her years in King City Marge belonged to various clubs and organizations including the Silver Kings and Queens and was a devout catholic and member of St. John's Catholic Church.

Marge is survived by her children Michael, Craig, Larry, and Annette; her grandchildren, Brian, Amy, Tyson, Jeremy, Ryan, Stephen, Brandon, Katlin. Jackson and 12 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5pm – 6pm on Friday, January 28 ^th , 2022 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel. A Recitation of the Rosary will follow at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29 ^th , 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church. Marge will be laid to rest in King City District Cemetery.
