Obituary
Maria Montemayor Ochoa, 84 of King City passed away February 7, 2026. She was born July 29, 1941 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico.
Maria has lived in the King City area in excess of 68 years. She was a laborer in agriculture for 65 years, working in many of the packing sheds that produced asparagus, tomatoes and carrots. She was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio Montemayor and Narcisa Rosales; brothers and sisters, Antonio (Tony) Montemayor, Rosa Zamorano, Yolanda Castañeda, and Gregorio Montemayor.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Yolanda Ortega, Roland Montemayor, Emma Guerrero, Pete Zamorano Jr., Gregorio Castañeda, Jose Antonio Montemayor, Ramon Montemayor and Jesse Montemayor.
SERVICE INFORMATION:
A Funeral Mass will be held, 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2026 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City, CA 93930
