Maria Emma Medina, 89 of King City passed away suddenly on Friday, June 10, 2016. She was born in Buenavista, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on January 26, 1927. She came to the United States in 1973 in search of a better life. She enjoyed watching novelas, reading magazines, going to parades, talking on the phone and visiting with family and friends.

She was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church. She also was a volunteer for Loaves and Fishes as well as a the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) program for 25 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma P. Medina, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Her husband, Cruz Medina preceded her in death.

A Visitation is scheduled 5pm to 7pm followed by a 7pm Rosary Service on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. A Funeral Mass will be 10am Thursday, June 16, 2016. All services will be at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City.
