With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria "Mary" Clay who was born in Laredo, Texas, but became a cherished member of the King City, California community for the past 41 years. She sadly left our world on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

Maria leaves behind a loving legacy through her seven children: Cristobal, Claudio, Gabriel, Willie, Clementina, José Luis, and Jazmin, and she was a proud grandmother to 13 beautiful grandchildren. She was a kind-hearted woman who cared deeply for her family and others, always offering a warm smile and a helping hand.

Maria's  memory will be a guiding star for all who knew her. Her generosity, love, and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed.

A service celebrating Maria's precious life will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at St. John's Church in King City, beginning with a Rosary at 10 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m., and burial at 12 p.m. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering and honoring her remarkable life.

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maria "Mary" Clay, que nació en Laredo, Texas, pero se convirtió en un miembro muy querido de la comunidad de King City, California, durante los últimos 41 años. Tristemente, ella dejó nuestro mundo el jueves 11 de julio de 2024

María deja un legado amoroso a través de sus siete hijos: Cristóbal, Claudio, Gabriel, Willie, Clementina, José Luis y Jazmin, y también fue una orgullosa abuela de 13 hermosos nietos. Era una mujer de buen corazón que se preocupaba profundamente por su familia y por los demás, ofreciendo siempre una cálida sonrisa y una mano amiga.

La memoria de María será una estrella guía para todos los que la conocieron. Su generosidad, amor y compasión tocaron la vida de muchos, y la echaremos mucho de menos.

Un servicio que celebra la vida de María se llevará a cabo el lunes 15 de julio de 2024 en St. Iglesia de San Juan en King City, comenzando con un rosario a las 10 a.m., seguido de una misa a las 11 a.m. y la sepultura a las 12 p.m. Se invita a familiares y amistades a unirse para recordar y honrar su extraordinaria vida.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024 followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John's Catholic Church, 540 N. Third St., in King City.  Burial will follow in the King City District Cemetery.
