Maria del Carmen Ortega Lopez, 76 of King City passed away on January 16, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.  She was born December 22, 1942 in Moreleon, GTO, Mexico.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bible study, cooking, listening to music and caring for her family.  Maria married Jose Luis Ortega January 27, 1968.  They were married for 51 years.

Maria worked in the agriculture industry and was a childcare provider.  She was a member of the Comunidad Cristiana de Fe Church in King City.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Ortega; her children, Inez L. Amador, Luis G. Ortega, Maria L. Alvarez and Alex B. Ortega; grandchildren, Danny Amador, Richard Amador, Cristian Amador, Crystal Alvarez, Carlos Alvarez, Ashley Ortega, Vanessa Ortega; great grandchildren, Valerie and Damian Amador.

SERVICES:

A Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Comunidad Cristiana de Fe church, 1200 Broadway, King City, California.
