Luis Manuel Cazares Martinez, 79 of King City passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026. He was born June 20, 1946 in the state of Durango, Mexico.

Luis was one of the simplest of men, but with the biggest heart. He had a special way of making everyone around him feel comfortable, heard, and loved. He was the kind of person who made you smile effortlessly — always joking, always laughing, always filling the atmosphere with joy. Being with him felt easy and beautiful. He lived life with a free spirit, as if nothing could take away his peace or happiness.
He loved deeply, especially his animals. He always had the most unexpected pets, but he loved and cared for each one as part of his family. He showed that same love and patience with his plants — he cared for them with great passion and pride. He found happiness in simple things, and because of that he made life feel simpler and more joyful for everyone around him.
Having known him was truly a blessing. He brought comfort, laughter, and warmth wherever he went, and life, will never feel the same without him.
