Lucille (Bonita) Rosario, 104 of King City passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on October 22, 2022. She was born in California to Rose and Victor Bonita. She was the youngest of seven children. Her siblings, Mabel, Mame, Alice, Ethel, Billy, and Charlie preceded her in death.
Lucille worked in the local cleaners in King City. She met and married James C. Rosario in the fall of 1938, and were married for 45 years, when Jim passed in 1984. Jim and Lucille purchased the King City Cleaners and Jim worked locally for Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO). He left ARCO to work with Lucille in the Cleaners. Together they enjoyed various types of dancing, Ballroom, Square, and Round dancing. This took them to various places to see and dance. To watch them dance was like they were floating an inch above the floor. They moved effortlessly across the floor, very smooth and beautiful.
Jim and Lucille have one child, Carolyn Nelson (Harry), 2 grandchildren, Kim Cochran (Chuck) and Glen Nelson (Stef), 3 great grandchildren, Danielle (Austin) and Hunter Cochran and Tom Nelson (Breann), and one great, great grandchild, Braxton Nelson. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Catholic Mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City, followed by a Private Graveside Service at King City Cemetery.
