Lucia Diaz Araujo, 89 of King City passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at her home. She was born December 13, 1926 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

She enjoyed watering her garden, cleaning her yard and cooking. During her working life, she was employed by Meyer Tomatoes for 40 years and L.A. Hearne Company for 15 years cleaning beans with her longtime friend Teresa Murrillo.

Lucia was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church. She regularly attended the Sunday evening mass.

She is survived by her sons, Alexandro dAraujo and Gregorio dAraujo; Brothers Jose Basilio Diaz and Gregorio Diaz; sister, Alicia Mancha of Texas. Lucia is preceded in death by her husband, Marcelino Araujo.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Rosary Service is scheduled for 9:30, Monday, June 20, 2016 followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third Street in King City. Interment will follow in King City District Cemetery.
