Lillian Ann Pumphrey, 90 of King City passed away on January 1, 2025. She was born April 24, 1934 in Watsonville, Calif.
She graduated from Watsonville High School. She eventually moved to and has been a longtime resident of King City.
Lillian's first employment in King City was as a receptionist for Frudden Produce. She also worked as a waitress and secretary. Her work history was mainly in banking. She started as a teller and eventually to a bank manager.
She loved to play sports. She was a very good athlete and enjoyed tennis, golf, softball, and bowling. She loved to watch her Raiders and A's play.
Lillian has 2 children, Mark Pumphrey and wife Lisa and Karen (Pumphrey) Richter and her husband Gary; grandchildren, Nicole (Pumphrey) Garcia, Ryan Richter, Ashley (Richter) Coronado; great grandchildren, Aria Garcia, Olivia Coronado, Owen Coronado, Hannah Combs, Ella Richter and McKinsey Richter. She also has a younger sister, Linda Evans. Her older sister, Mercy Blinkenberg passed away 1 year ago.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Eddington Funeral Chapel, 429 Bassett Street, King City.
Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Lillian are asked to make a donation to a charity that helps animals, especially dogs. Lillian always loved and had dogs.
