Obituary

Ku'uleimamo Helene Flores, 73 of King City passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 23, 2014.
Kuulei was born March 18, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii to her parents, Helen and Valentine Marciel. She attended K thru 12th grades at Panahou School, Hawaii and also attended Hartnell College.

During her working life she worked for Union Sugar Company. She was a big sports fan. She loved to watch her grandchildren and their friends play sports as well as any other function they might take part in. She was an avid Pedro and Scrabble player.

Kuulei is survived by her children, Kaleo Flores (Cheya), Kek Flores (Lucy), Kanani Barbree (Blair), Cynnie O'Connor (David); grandchildren, Landon Flores (Melinda), Leslee Falkenberg (Blake), Sami O'Connor, Shane O'Connor, Kassie O'Conner, Chase Barbree, Clay Barbree, Zinnia Lopez, Gina Hernandez; great grandchild, Sage Flores; and her brother Val Marciel (Diana).

CELEBRATION OF LIFE:

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will start at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the Pavilion Building of the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division St., King City. We will begin the Celebration of Life for Kuulei with a prayer service followed by memorials and sharing with family and friends.
