Kathy Lucille Banks, born to Hud and Muffy Banks August 8, 1954 in Santa Maria, Calif.  Kathy passed on May 8, 2018.

She graduated from Paso Robles High School in 1972. She was involved 4H and FFA raising and showing livestock. She then attended Cal Poly SLO with an Ag major.

Kathy was an animal lover. She had horses and dogs all of her life. She loved to ride horseback, helping neighbors work cattle and for pleasure. She was very creative and artistic. She made beautiful rope art.

In her high school and college years she worked for a veterinarian and then worked in retail, owning her own clothing store for a few years. The last 5 years she had been a care giver for both of her parents.

Kathy was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hud and Muffy Banks; grandparents, Choppo and Hazel Munoz and Fred and Marie Banks. She is survived by her sister Karen; brother-in-law, Scott and nephew, Matt Williams and her little dog, Cowgirl.

The family would appreciate, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Woods Animal Shelter or North County Humane Society.
